Re: Running under Win 7
The instructions you pointed me to worked. I also had to register TABCTL32.OCX, but once you know the registering procedure it only takes a minute. With Win 7 it's important to do the following: when you run the Command Prompt, right click on it and select "run as administrator". If you don't, the r...

Re: Running under Win 7
Thanks, Lance...I'lll give that a try. So far the transition from XP to Win 7 has been surisingly easy. Of the dozen or so FS related programs I've installed under Win 7, I've only had this and one other problem, and they both seem fixable. The biggest nuisance is transferring the huge amounts of da...

I get the following error message when I try to run Sbuilder: Run-time error '339': Component COMDLG32.OCX or ...

Re: Sbuilder.chm is not help for me
Make sure you have the latest version of Sbuilder. I think I had this same problem with an older version. Another way to open the help file is to open the Sbuilder/HTML folder and double click on the help file.

Re: Odd LWM behavior
Ah. I read the tutorial on making an Island and think I got it figured out. Didn't occur to me that I had to assign a land class texture to the land mask I'd created. Duh.

Odd LWM behavior
This illustrates a problem I sometimes run into when using LWMs to modify a coastline. The airport is Pangnirtung in northern Canada. I have UT installed, but it does not modify this area, so the default scenery bgls are being used. In the pic you can see the airport and the default coastline. I've ...

Re: Objects from fs9_custom_buildings_ss dont appear in scenery
I'm glad you got that sorted out. I've just completed updating my FS9 default terminal buildings library to be compatible with RWY12 and Sbuilder. It works for me, but I wouldn't mind if someone else tested it before I upload it for public consumption. Anyone who would like to give it a try is welco...
