Hi Dick

Many thanks for your quick response and your clarafication
Your modified file is certainly not causing any problems at my end and from a design point of view the much wider choice of shorelines for use in FSX is a real bonus.

Hi Luis & Dick I have now re-installed your modified terrain.cfg to work with SP1 and so far everything seems okay. I would in turn be looking to include your file in the scenery package I am about to release as you have suggested. However I am now getting feedback which is suggesting that the modif...

Hi Luis I have your 'Terrain Design for Flight Simulator X' download and I thank you for taking the time to compile this very helpful document. However if you are producing scenery for distribution for FSX you can not be sure if all the propective users have your replacement terrain.cfg file install...

Hi Dick

I have found the 'Shorelines Generic Lake/River/Ocean/Harbour/Canal'

will display in FSX and the ocean setting will have waves. None of the others in the SBuilderX list seem to display.

SbuilderFSX Error

Hi Luis I am redrawing coastlines in FSX and have come across this error report which is stopping me continuing with one particular project. This is a large area being covered and the file so far has 7032 polygons and 4747 lines. The error is appearing if I try to 'centre' the design screen or compi...

Hi Luis Yes, I am aware of your new functions for adding maps and I am sure I will benefit from this more streamlined system in time. However at the moment it's more beneficial for me to carry on using what I know best. Looking forward to the further expansion of FSX functions within SBuilder. Iain ...

Hi Luis Many thanks for the quick response. Clicking on the very edge of the 'parent polygon' has done the trick and this function is now working for me. I am actually working on redrawn FS2004 coastline files exported as .BLN and appended into your new version. I have very many small coastal island...

Hi Luis I have had success with all functions so far used except the 'create a hole' in the polygon function menu. Should this work at the moment? I get message to 'click on parent polygon' which I assume means the polygon in which the hole is to be made. The shape for the hole then changes colour b...

Hi Luis I would strongly urge you to ignore such rantings. Your program is an excellent contribution to FS design and that is the widely held view of the design community. I have a commercial licence for your program and have produced, with a lot of assistance from your help files, a lot of scenery ...

Hi Luis & Fred Yes I am now having problems that I did not have before with this version. The boundaries box will not stay in the the map window when you move the cursor. This has always happened with gmaps version 2 but not until very recently with gmaps version 1. I also can't now access the 'sate...

Hi Luis Your original link ( the one that captures the co-ordinates ) does not show updated images for areas of Scotland that are available using version 2. For the moment, where updated images are available, I have been capturing the images from version 2 and with the same centre point grabbing the...

Hi Would it be possible to add the facility to place a line of objects, with designated spacing. Iain Scotflight <font color="red"> Hello, The only thing I can think that fits the SBuilder interface is to define a new type of Line. Line of Objects. The objects would be placed on the points of the Li...

Hi Luis I can advise that I have made progress and have my scenery working at all times but without one very small element that I am sure no one will miss. I did some futher testing by re-instating the _VTPP.bgl but at the same time removing all the other SBuilder files generated for the project. Th...

Hi Luis Going back to my original post I now realise that the textured polygons are complied seperately and appear in their own .bgl so that they are not playing a part in what is happening. I can now advise further progress in that I can now get my original scenery to work at all time settings if I...
