Thanks. I will take a look at this (not that I can do anything constructive, but I'm curious about why Google keeps changing stuff.). I guess people who use the tile proxy app also are affected.

SBX crash on bln/shp load
I mentioned this on AVSIM, but probably this is a better location. In SBX I start a new project. First thing I do is File --> append surfer bln or ESRI shp. A window popups where I can change the GUID of imported polys by clicking on the window. When I do this SBX crashes with "Index was outside the...

I think that is the core problem with this approach. I recently did some scenery of an airport situated on the SW coast of Korea, and did some coastline. As you say, it is hard to get mesh coastline and water poly to all agree. Using a wider coastline can help cover up errors. There were a couple of...

Don't know what would be best. Actually, I am surprised that FSX works in this way. What little photo work I have done is for small areas using 30cm source data, so I haven't seen the problem you have discovered. You might try posting to fsdeveloper.com, maybe more people can see it and offe some id...

Take a look at your bgl in tmfviewer. See what LOD levels have been created. I'm just guessing, but I imagine your photoscene has a max LOD of maybe 12 or 13, and your have your texture resolution set to 1m in FSX, so that the game is looking for LOD 15 which your photo isn't giving. If that is corr...

Hello (Hola?0 There are 2 methods of making photo scenery. Most tools create photoscenery using the reasample sdk tool. this scenery replaces the normal terrain scenery. Sbuilder uses a different method, using VTP polygons with photo textures assigned to them. this way the photo scenery co-exists wi...

Hi Res Photo Q for Luis:
With the threads on spikes and blurries, I was looking more closely at the Hi Res Photo objects. Here is a portion of the SCASM output: RefPoint( 2 :return 1 38.89709473 -77.04345703 E= 0015.8888889 v1= 5000 v2= 1200 ) ....
