I just did the test.

The original Google Sattelite file: L0X68475Y39336.jpg
The file renamed with GSAT2SBX: L18X68475Y39336.jpg

Cheers (and thx for looking into this)

Luis,

I can`t get Man2SBuilder to work. I convert my Manifold Google Sattelite imagery to SBuilder standard all right, and move all the renamed files from the SBXTILES folder to Sbuilderx\Tiles\GoogleSattelite. But SBuilder ignores them and downloads empty new Google tiles instead.

Cheers,

Thanks! I recently had problems with Google sattelite. I got no images in Manifold, nor in SBuilder. It is ok now...SBuilder at least. What I whished for was to again have the ability to go back to a Manifold cache like in the first SBuilderx version, instead of having to be online. There are many v...

Hi Luis,

Thx to your tips here I was able to exclude the default flatten. But my new flatten has a terrible yellowish "grass" texture. Do I have to draw another polygon on top of it, and must I first make yet another exclude for the grass?

Hi Jose, Thx for enlightening me. I tried to include the exclude rectangle in my bridge xml file, but it did not exclude the autogen bridge. Do I have to use decimal values (like your example) for the coordinates? I used the same format as for the bridge, which is "N60 22.16"... Gotta spend this day...

Luis, Thx a lot for the FSX version! Today I was able to exclude roads in order to fit them to my gmax bridges. But: I still have to remove the autogen brigdes by deleting the bgl files from the scenery folder. I know the new SBuilder version is only for terrain as of today. So here is a suggestion:...

Luis, Thx for your excellent explanation. I understand (almost) all now. I am sort of overloaded right now, fitting my bridges to roads and roads to bridges. [:o)] I printed your example from Avsim. I`ll try your little example later on. Sbuilder is working like a charm, I only move roads now, and t...

Luis, Reporting back: I moved the little road piece just a fraction to the West, and that solved it, no more crater. [:)] I also tried "snap to grid", and got exactly the same result as you did, but only after changing "Remove Hooks=TRUE" in the SBuilder ini file, which the help file recommends. I a...

As I see it everything is solved! How could I guess that my P4 2.8GHz and 1GB RAM would use that long time to open the file? Waited for about 3 minutes and the VTP bgl opens fine now with SB 2.04.

Just a last question: Why did you use the "snap to grid" ?

Regards,
Andrew

Hi Luis, Thx for the suggestion. I am not able to check the mesh in any way, but will try moving road points. I still have the other problem I described in the "Runtime error 9" thread. Could you be so kind to recommend which version of SBuilder I should start with when reinstalling? I started with ...

A huge hole in the mesh?

I am working on a custom roads scenery. After compiling it to a bgl, I found a huge hole in the mesh, going almost down to sea level. I noticed a little road piece going into that hole, and removed it with SBuilder and recompiled. That fixed it.

What could be the cause of this?

Luis, Yeah I know, it`s driving me crazy too [:)] Default or custom files, that might be the problem. I have only used SBuilder with custom files - never tried default. I will se if I can get a file for you to try, and also try to open a huge default file myself. BTW now the sbxxx.zip includes a obj...

I understand its mandatory the objects.txt should be replaced...but when I downloaded the 2.04 exe, there was no objects.txt included. I have added the Rwy12 stuff to the ini file, but I`m not using Rwy12 with SBuilder. I still got the same problem. I can append a roads VTP file with the 2.03 exe bu...

Luis, Looks like the Firefox browser is my problem, it reverts back to Portugese when I select English. I can live with that! I am still not able to open some files in SBuilder with the 2.04 exe. A 0.5MB VTP railroads BGL opens fine, but takes a long time to show up. If I try to open 1.3MB files, SB...
