Thaks Luis, Well, I'm now getting this error message in addition to not being able to get the flattens, and excludes to work. They were working when I first created them a while back, but now when I tried to readjust the alttitude of the flattens, the excludes and hydromask don't work. I attempted t...

Hey guys, The reason for the elevation change is unique. Attached to the Naval Air Station, are aircraft carrier docks to the North East on the bay. In order to build decent scenery that covers both area's with out the difference in alttitude affecting some parts of the airport immediately conected ...

I was stationed at Baloa Naval Hospital. The only reason I try to use multiple seasons is that if I only use summer it won't compile. Here is a photo of the scenery after I compile using all seasons with alpha. The next photo is the error message I got after about 1 minute running the simulator in t...

As a matter of fact it is North Island,NAS in San Diego. I put the VTPH BGL's in my scenery folder of North Island, I have to delete the PHOTO bgl's because I get mysterious big green lines that show up. The only way I can create bgl's and be able to goto the scenery is to set it to Summer only and ...

Photo Scenery
I'm in the process of modifying a Naval Airstation in FS9, {North Island,NAS} and I had a problem redefining the coastline. I was able to overcome that problem, but now there is another. I want to use satelite photo scenery for the base terrain and using the photo scenery option in SBuilder has gott...

Yeah that's not a problem. I've done other things with sbuilder like changing land textures like from city to desert and things like that, but this is first time for me to really do any major changes to a large area. I'm modifying North Island,NAS to resemble the satelite photos, in other words tryi...

Well what I did here was use a named water texture for the VTP at a layer of 8. I tried using the Classes option 123 and 124 for the Ocean, but it still looks painted on. I'm stuck!! Could you tell me step by step how to get this water to blend in, in case I'm missing something. If you like I could ...

Thanks Jose!!! I finaly figured out the reason my computer crashed. The texture I chose to use was 16 bit, and when I converted it to DXT1 everything worked fine {see example 1} Now my question is, the texture I chose {which seemed to be a default ocean texture} is hard, with no water charecteristic...
