Re: Shapefiles

You might want to zip and attach a shapefile that won't work. There were changes made to the reading of the files. If a shapefile has errors, perhaps the old version will still read it, while 314 might not... just guessing.

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

I just copied globalmapper 64-bit program's folder to Program Files (x86), and it ran just fine from there. And that is native 64-bit, not .NET. As far as the 64-bit program is concerned, location makes no difference. Permissions may make a difference. I'm sure Luis will think the update process ove...

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

Hi Gary. I usually don't install anything to the default C:\Program Files (x86).. heard of too many problems. But if an installer insists, I go along with it. I copied the whole working SBuilderX314 64-bit to this folder, and it works just fine. As it should. The JIT for .NET programs reads the code...

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

Hi Joe. At this point, if I were you, I would uninstall SBuilderX with the Windows uninstaller. ( Save any works in progress first, and note the installation folder for reinstallation ). Then go to the folder where SBuilderX resided, and uninstall the whole folder. Now you can reinstall a clean copy...

Re: Prepar3d V2

The program works as-is with P3D. You can copy the tools from the P3D SDK ( resample, etc... ), but the terrain features of P3D v2 are still fully compatible with P3D without those tools. I don't know if the FSUIPC function for moving or locating the aircraft ( coordinating it with SBuilderX ) still...

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

Hi Joe.

I think I have the answer. I can get the same error popup if I try to run the old x86 SBuilderX with the new x64 DLLs. Make sure you are running the new SBuilderX. If you are running from a shortcut, it may refer to the old program.

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

Hi Gary. I don't believe Luis or I have Windows8. But that issue seems to be resolved by either a system reboot, or by reinstalling the .NET 4.5.1 runtimes. And this compatibility problem, if it exists, has no effect on SBuilderX3.14. The only issue is if 4.5.1 messes with someone's system. The new ...

Re: Can't open SbuilderX 314 forum

You may need the Windows update for .NET 4.5.1:

Note that the SBuilderX314 is not for WindowsXP, or for the 32-bit versions of Windows.

Re: Freeway Traffic

There's nothing SBuilderX can do to solve a problem that is either caused by your computer system, or by the native behavior of FSX.

Re: SbuilderX shapefile import issue

If you could zip the shapefile and attach it to a post, we could find the problem.

Re: Photoreal from older sat in GE

Hi Claviateur. The tiles are gathered from Google Maps, not Google Earth. We have no way of controlling which tiles we get. Some users are able to get earlier images by using an earlier version of the DLL. Google has recently changed the way we can access the tiles, so it's possible an earlier DLL m...

Luis is updating SBuilderX, and yes there is a 64-bit version in testing that will solve some memory problems.

Perhaps attaching a zip of the original data would help, as wee're having some trouble seeing the problem.

Re: Make changes to many polys all at once

I don't know what program made the original polygon, but there is something wrong with it's format or geometry. I took your original data, opened it in QGIS ( Global Mapper should have worked as well ), and resaved the data. I then used that new data to cut a hole in a surrounding rectangle I made a...
