Re: Mesh does not show.

Hi jtanabodee,

your post is somewhat old, but despite not having a tutorial ready I might be able to guide you a little. Are you still engaged with the issue or did you drop or solve it?

Regards
Mick

Re: Sbuilder.chm is not help for me

Hi sfrenchie, I'm not into Windows 7, but from Vista I remember that they were giving me trouble opening .chm help files in the beginning, too. I suppose it's a Windows version problem that you might be able to solve through Microsofts Win7 updates or patches. In another forum I just detected immedi...

Hi Dick, thank you for letting me know about this limit. I had got inspired to experiment with them through the new helipack (from flightport), which uses similar textures... but having 460 clinics in the package, I didn't find our where these are used and how they actually look in FS9. I seem to ha...

Textured / named VTP lines

Hi everybody, I hope someone will find this FS9 issue (and maybe my other ones) and help me getting forward with some advice. I also hope Luis is fine after his vacation - I'm getting worried since I don't see you around, man?? Today it's about textured VTP lines, after trying for many hours and rea...

Bulk Changes of Lines, Objects etc

Hello everybody, I hope someone can tell me a better solution for changing properties of many objects (or polys or lines - it's similar) at the same time (bulk changes). Selecting the objects with SHIFT in e.g. object mode makes the multiple selection. Keeping SHIFT pressed and right-clicking brings...

Thank you, scott. Maybe you show me up the limitations here, especially since I used SRTM mesh for my scenery... I had also tried around a bit with slarti and autoasm and didn't get too far with them - I guess you have to be a professional to even fully understand how to use them. So my temporary so...

How to fit the coastline to the mesh?

Hello everybody, even after a lot of positive experiments with SBuilder I'm still struggling with coastlines and would really appreciate if anyone could inspire me with the right techniques for doing this... (SB 2.5.06 / FS9) Here's what I do and where the problem arises: 1. I create the mesh for my...

Hi Luis, hope your vacation was beautiful and as I see now I can access the usual forum again... although the possibility to edit all the other peoples entries [8D] has gone away [;)] After your brief message last week I went on examining my objects and found two different reasons for the gaps - bot...

Thank you for the idea, meshman. Makes a lot of sense if it were "many many" of them ... In case "bulk" means 10 or 15 objects only, it would still be lesser work to edit each single one. And since it's quite a common thing I figure that there's a function which I just don't find..? What I found by ...

Hi ponyboy, Luis had written that he's away for a week, so maybe I can at least give you a hint from my own experience when facing a similar problem with objects last week. The background reason in my case was an invalid object definition in the relevant obj-###.txt file (the definition file in the ...

Thank you for them moment, Luis - I'll go on studying and maybe someone else knows the bulk-change-trick.

I wish you a very very happy vacation [8D] (hope you're away for that [:D])

Kind regards

Resolved: Gaps Between Aligned Objects

Dear all [:)], I'm beginning to create a little city scenery, which has many of the same buildings. My question is about the best way to handle details in SB, and I would really appreciate some experienced advice. Here's a first screenshot: I design...

Partially Resolved: How to Bulk Replace an Object?

<font face="Arial">Hi everybody, does anyone know how I can (bulk) replace an object that's used dozens of times in a SB scenery? The problem arises making first objects with gmax (1.2), which obviously generates a new object GUID on export (so that it becomes a different object for SB). As a conseq...

thank you still for reviewing, Luis. I tried many things meanwhile (as you saw I even reinstalled Sbuilder), including deleting the ini so that sbuilder made a new ini file. The error remained the same and it only showed up when I want to place or edit an object - even in new scenery. I was wonderin...
