Probably there is no altitude mesh there, so you will need to add one.
Best regards.

Re: Island again ........
Excuse me, George, I have not made myself very clear. You cannot fill the scenery with land. Flight Simulator is already filled with land everywhere on the planet. In order to get oceans, seas, lakes, and rivers, a Hydro Polygon must be created. Then, and only then will water be displayed on top of ...

Re: Island again ........
Excuse me, George. This extra information clarifies the problem. In fact, you were trying to make an island while using another third-party scenery that has more detailed coasts. These are two different things altogether. So, when you make your island,: - make an exclusion for the water body; - then...

Re: Island again ........
Thank you, George. Please excuse me for asking. This is a very simple procedure and if there are problems, then the solution is bound to be simple as well. The only possibilities that come to mind are: - the exclusion polygon has not been properly selected, so default water is not removed. This woul...

Re: Island again ........
Thank you, George. I see your new Hydro Poly and the hole. Could you please indicate where you have drawn the exclusion? Thank you.

Re: Island again ........
Thank you very much, George, I love difficult problems. I checked the location on Google and there does not seem to be an island precisely at that spot, but Google has been wrong before. Although the ferry to Eretria is shown as passing right by. Nonetheless, this should still be possible. Cou...

Re: Island again ........
The procedure for making islands is the same, George. Let's start from the beginning. The entire FS world is land. There is only water when a Hydro Polygon is present. So, a coastline is a Hydro Poly with the shape of the coast and covering the land with water. To make an island close to a coast, yo...

Re: DOES XBUILDERX WORK WITH P3D V4
Hello, It has now been a while and you have not gotten a reply. Sorry. I don't have P3D so could not say. However, others have successfully used the P3D tools with SBuilderX. Perhaps you should just try and see what happens. Remember to point the SBuilderX settings to the P3D executable and its tool...

Re: Red and Black problems
Hello,
Yes, this problem is explained in the photo-real tutorial. In short, either get rid of all pure white pixels in your source, or delete the NullValue line from the inf file.
This seems to be a bug in the photo-real compiler.
Best regards.

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX
Google probably has a web site for third-party developers where they can find much information of all sorts. As usual, a Google search will most likely find this.-
Dick Ludowise, (rhumbaflappy), has very kindly kept the Google server dll up to date. Thanks, Dick!
Best regards.

This sounds strangely familiar, Bob, but I don't remember a solution. Perhaps somebody else recalls, or a search of this forum might turn something up.

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX
I really don't know how the Google Maps server works, but I think they keep their latest images for the Maps/Earth applications. Luis Sá, the creator of SBuilder and SBuilderX, could only access a server where Google keeps older images. Why can you only get low resolution images in some areas? Perha...

Re: Tile Server Plug-Ins for SBuilderX
Hello, The images in Google Maps are probably more recent and of better quality than those that Google makes available for downloading. You can probably use a screenshot of Google Maps if you know the coordinates of the image's corners. With that information, import the image into SbuilderX and cali...
