Selection Of A Large Number Of Lines
The old SB help says: <b>Setting the properties of several Lines and Polygons In Line mode or Polygon mode you can select many elements and change the properties of all the elements simultaneously. To do that you hold down SHIFT key while you press (select) parts. If you release the SHIFT key everyt...

My experience has been the opposite. I tried the FS9 selections and they display ok. But the Shorelines xxxxx do not. I doubt that it is an SBX issue. Microsoft really messes things up when they become ever more clever by changing the ground rules for element management addons such as SBX. There is ...

No, did not try the legacy FS9 shoreline. Tried the FSX Ocean, River, Lake, and Default. I thought that Microsoft would have modified the Terrain.cfg with the patch but mine has your original opening information. I asked the question since I assumed that the shore has all of the same characteristics...

Shorelines - attributes? FSX/SBX
I cannot get a shoreline to appear. If I give the same line segment a road type property it appears ok. Is there some special attribute of shorelines, other than the clockwise wave effect, that would cause it to not appear? All the SDK seems to mention is the waves.

SBX-Create New Airport Flatten?
I did this once and then erased the files to start over and totally forgot how I did it. I need to eliminate the existing airport flatten. It is so extensive that it flattens some real elevation features. Is there a way to do this in SBX or do I have to use the SDK stuff manually? Is the Airport Bou...

Placing buildings with IS can be a bit more than you might expect. As an example if you use an accurate photo background you will probably have to move and "fix" the airport to match the photo (AFCAD). This is a long process in itself since the FS airports are only approximations of reality. However...

Manifold Toolbar Gone From IExplorer??-Fixed
<b>Fixed when, by accident, I found that I had to right click on IExplorer's menue bar to select Manifold,</b> <b></b>The Manifold toolbar has disappeared from IExplorer. I had used it with no problems since SBuilderX was released. I have un-installed it and removed all "manifold" references from th...

Thanks - I did the rectangle exclude and it worked as you said. I put the BGL in a folder along with Sbuilder "polygon" type excludes to provide for easier cataloging. Seemed to work ok. I used the option to delete all of objects with one command to eliminate all of them from photo scenery. A nice f...

Exclude Objects??
Probably a dumb question---- How do I exclude objects in FSX with SBuilder? There are many exclude functions but none seem to remove ob objects such as Microsoft's hanger and buildings at and near airports???

One other thought - do the polygons each have a function? That is, are they landclass, flatten, exclude. etc. I am using SBuilderX and it will not even allow the compile popup to permit selections unless there is at least one selected polygon that has some type of characteristic. Do not remember if ...

Just a simple-minded suggestion - When I am in a problem situation rather than directing the the BGL to its ultimate folder I send it to the desktop. There I have a shortcut to TmfViewer as a further tool for drag&drop, if needed. This way I see immediately if the darn BGL is appearing. Every time I...
