How to use existing fs9 airfield

Post by twi1801 » Mon Apr 23, 2007 7:06 pm

I have installed ver 2.05 and I cannot find a way to use the existing airfield in fs9. I can make changes in AFCAD, but I need to be able to exclude trees around the airfield. The help does not seem to show how to get the file from fs9 either. Is this possible or do I need to build the airfield from scratch?

Hi

Create a VTP2 poly covering the area you want to exclude the trees (autogen).

The type is "assembled", 1183 grass.

SBuilder will not handle runways and other Airport Facilities - for that you need AFCAD. There are some tutorials on my we site on how to use AFCAD and SBuilder to change airports that might be of interest.
