I know I am missing something here...
I am adding a shoreline between a waterpoly and a land poly, but no shoreline appears in FSX. I draw the line then assign the properties of the line as "Shoreline Tan Sand Surf"
I have a feeling that the method for adding shorelines is different from Ground2K. Also, which side of the line will have the surf?

FS X only has 6 types of shorelines:
- Shorelines Default
- Shorelines Generic Bay Harbor
- Shorelines Generic Lake
- Shorelines Generic River
- Shorelines Generic Ocean (with wave effect)
- Shorelines Generic Canal Channel
They all display either the tan sand or the tan rock texture, and only the ocean shoreline has a wave effect.
If you have installed the FSX_modified_terrain_cfg.zip file (available in the Avsim library), then you can also draw any of the old FS 9 shorelines, with their much greater variety.
However, shorelines in FS X, whether the default or the FS 9 beaches, will always display a fixed width, as defined in the terrain.cfg file.
