SBX-Create New Airport Flatten?

I did this once and then erased the files to start over and totally forgot how I did it.
I need to eliminate the existing airport flatten. It is so extensive that it flattens some real elevation features. Is there a way to do this in SBX or do I have to use the SDK stuff manually? Is the Airport Boundary function the answer?

Hello Dick,
1. Draw an exclude polygon to remove the default flatten (Exclude_All_Airport_Boundaries);
2. draw a new polygon and define it as a flatten (Airport Bounds), for example:
AB_Flatten_MaskClassMap_ExcludeAutoGen
3. make sure to give it an altitude.
Best regards.

Hi Luis,
Thx to your tips here I was able to exclude the default flatten. But my new flatten has a terrible yellowish "grass" texture. Do I have to draw another polygon on top of it, and must I first make yet another exclude for the grass?

Hello Andrew,
The type of texture displayed by an Airport Bounds mask will depend on the underlying land class value. It will not always be green grass.
Please see:

for more information and a table of mask values.
Best regards.
