SBuilderX - Excluding Roads Problem

Post by gsnde » Fri May 25, 2007 5:38 pm

Hi again [:)]

I have a problem excluding a small road crossing my airport. Please see the first screenshot, the road which should go is crossing the lake. The lower red arrow points to the autobahn which should stay by all means.

Now here is the outcome if I exclude the road with a very tiny polygon (like the yellow box). You see that all the autobahn is gone as well.

Now I kind of realize that this is probably related to that bounding box definition. Is that true?

If so, what are my options? I looked for an "exclude only small road" definition, but have not found anything.

All comments are very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Martin

Hi, Martin

You are right about bounding box question.

Luis Sá explained very well this issue in the post

http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showth ... t=bounding

I think it's a good idea to take a look at that.

José

Thank you, Jose.

I will read through this thread. Any chance that you can give me a hint regarding my previous post about the asphalt textured polygon?

Thank you,
Martin

[:)][:)][:)]

I am a very happy camper !!

Not only have I solved this problem, I now as well have completely tailored roads leading to my base at exactly the right spots.

Jose, thank you for pointing me to the answer.

Luis, thank you for SBuilder

Cheers,
Martin
