Scenery Builder - a tool for Scenery Design

Post by Luis Sa » Thu Mar 25, 2004 11:44 am

Hello,

I would like to share a tool which deals with several aspects of scenery design:

- mesh scenery
- photographic scenery
- landclass scenery
- LWM/VTP scenery
- object placement

The tool is called Scenery Builder and is aimed at FS2004. It produces scenery source files which are compiled with the latest version of SCASM.

This tool is under development and may have many bugs. We will be grateful if you can help us in reducing the number of bugs. Remember that you will need SCASM which is available at www.scasm.de

To download SBuilder see the other topic on "SBuilder updates".

We antecipately thank everyone who wants to colaborate with us in improving this tool. We also invite you to use this forum for reporting bugs or discussing the use of the tool.

There is a restriction in the use of SBuilder that we could not avoid. This restriction is related to commercial sceneries that we develop at PTSim. Permission to use the tool in the development of any scenery situated in Portugal, Madeira or Azores should be previously granted by us. We are really sorry to impose this restriction. However if anyone wants to colaborate with PTSim in developping parts of the our territory we are glad to discuss the matter. Please write to luis@ptsim.com.

Regards, Luis
