How's "Night Map" working ?

Hi all,I made the hi-res ground texture by SB, it looks great. And now I try to add some night texture but, here is how I doing: Open the previous project which contains all the tile polys with day textures defined by "Text" option. Choise one area redefine it to a night texture and check the "Night Map" box, then just select this one to compile. Now I got 2 .bgls for textures polys, one the previous daytime, one the single area night time. Well in sim, day time this night texture shows up, and when I chose night time this picture just more darker then the others. What do I miss?
