SBuilder Problems

Post by igallacher » Fri May 14, 2004 5:02 am

Hi

I have used the program up until version 1.04 without any problems.
Now I have tried version 1.05 and 1.06 and when I try to run the program I get the message 'Runtime Error 13, Type Mismatch.
Many thanks for a very nice program, hopefully you can advise me how to get it running again with your latest version.

Ian,

As Jeff suggests, datum.txt coild be the problem. I hope so.

I will be uploading, tomorrow, a complete package of version 1.06.

Hi Jeff & Luis

Thanks for the responses.
I do have the datum.txt installed in tools folder for version 1.06, just as I had for 1.05.
I will look out for the new full version 1.06 and hope the problem disappears.

Hi,
I tried the full version 106a today and I still got the Runtime error 13 type mismatch message. But then I opened the Datum.txt in the tools folder and replaced all the point/dots with commas and saved it. The error was gone when I opened the program after this adjustment. In Norway we use the comma as decimal marking.
Thanks for a nice program and for your efforts in making it.

Regards Jan

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the tip! This "comma versus decimal point" thing is causing a lot of trouble. Also when I received INI files from Italy, Germany, etc, I get their words for "True" and "False" which is another source of problems.

Hi Luis

Very pleased to advise that version 1.06a is free of the problem I reported earlier. No amendments to datum.txt needed this time.
Thanks also for the Global Landclass project. Looks very interesting!
