I tried this with Demo #1 and same thing you saw. It will become possible when someone releases a utility that allows the new BGL to be made into an FSX format.

This is one of the problems with a new FS. Most of the utilities need updated to match the new formats and capabilities. You want to change things but do not have any tools!!!

Hi, Paulo

You can open an image in Adobe Photoshop and save it in others formats, including *.tif.

Is that what you want to do?

José

You have to know the NorthWest and SouthEast Lat/Long of the image.
Then open it in Global Mapper and follow these steps.
Image
Click yes.
Image
Click ok.
Image
Add NorthWest Lat/Long coordinates and click to "Add GCP to List".
Image
Now add the SouthEast Lat/Long coordinates and the pixel size of the image.
(In my case 4270w 3234h)
Click again to "Add GCP to LIst" and go to the next step.
Image
Image
Now your image is ready to be exported as *.tiff
Image
Check out my settings in "GeoTIFF export options" and you will have a GeoTIFF image that includs metadata.
The thing that impresses me so much is that the textures are included inside the bgl after compiling the inf file!!!
I hope I helped you as much as possible!

Hi, Paulo

dlgv32 Pro is a limited-feature version of commercial software called Global Mapper which was created from the original dlgv32 source code. Improved to address changes in data standards and to better meet customer requirements, dlgv32 Pro continues the tradition of providing quality viewing software for USGS data users. The USGS has obtained from Global Mapper a license to freely distribute this limited-feature version.

Paulo,
