"Text" option in Sbuilder

Post by scubakobe » Sun Jan 14, 2007 11:29 pm

Hello,

I am using the "Text" option for a polygon in Sbuilder and would like to know how to set up a night map.

I have the night map box checked, but at night the texture stays in the day color.
The name of the texture I am using is "texture.bmp"
so the light map should be "texture_lm.bmp" correct?

Thanks everyone! [:)]

Hello,

It seems fine to me. The only think that I suggest is to look to the intermediate SCASM file that gets deposited in the work folder. Sometimes we pick up errors that are difficult to isolate.

I checked the SCASM file and sure enough it was there.

My only other choice was to darken the LM even more, and it turns out that's all I had to do.

It was already pretty dark so I didn't think it needed to be any darker, but maybe FS lightens it a bit.

Who knows,
but thanks anyway Luis! [:)]

Hi,

Just make a small textured polygon with the technique you are using and post here the small intermediate SCASM file. May be I, or someone else, will be able to spot the problem.

regards, Luis
