I just reinstalled SBuilder 313 after a HD crash. I added the server updates #74 to the tiles folder. I can't seem to get the Background option to work after this. It didn't work before either. It's greyed out and doesn't respond. Also I have a problem with opening the help file too.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Is there a tileserver for nearmap (www.nearmap.com)? If not, I'm considering pasting over another with GIMP and I would love an easier way.

Hi jgwynne87, when you have unzipped it, paste the driver and the code folder in the tiles folder of SBX.

I recently downloaded SBuilderX v 3.1.3.

I cannot see Google Satellite images. If I set this in preferences and click to show background it indicates that it is processing tiles, but nothing appears.

I can see Virtual Earth Satellite and Yahoo Satellite but not Google. Do I need to download something more?

Hello,

You need to get an updated DLL. Please see this thread and get the latest google server DLL made by Dick.

Hello Luis,

Its now about 3-4 weeks that Google Earth has changed "something" again and even the latest tileserver.dll for Google won't download anything other than plain white nothing. Sometimes it still gets the tiles from a previous satellite version. For example the Lingayen gulf in the Philippines. It was recently updated with new satellite pictures and they are clearly working in Google Earth. But when I fire up SbuilderX v3.13 with Tileserver v8.0, only the previous (old) tiles download, everything thats NEW remains white. It apperas to download something as it counts down the missing tiles, but just nothing than white space appears.

Any help would be apreciated.

Best regards,
Jake

Sorry, hero. No help for you here.

Anyone dumb enough to use the same user name and avatar as used at a pirate site doesn't deserve any help. Possibly you can find some one at Silverwingz.net to assist you?

Meshman  , you just became MY personal hero, not only is SBuilderX free, therefore has nothing to do with piracy, but it also tells me, that you are member in that so-called pirate site as well.

Now, since you are so intelligent, although you don't know who I am and how much hard earned money I've spent on original software (and I spent a LOT) maybe you can set aside your angelic inclinations and rather answer the questions asked here?

Best Regards,
Jake

Oh yes, I am a member. I'll join wherever I can to protect my products and the products of friends of mine. Can you say DMCA letter to the host site and BINGO!, dead links.

Sorry to see you go.

Certain areas of Google Maps don't show data at certain zoom levels. That is Google Maps fault. Google Earth imagery is different, and not available for SBuilderX.
