It's amazing what detail can be obtained using Background compiles. I combined all of the .inf files to produce a single bgl. These are zoomed in views in TmfViewer, one from the USA and one from Europe,

Where in your scenery, \Addon Scenery\scenery?

If so, make a new folder, \Addon Scenery\My Scenery\scenery <----

Move the BGL file there, activate in the Scenery Library, go see if it shows in FSX.

I´m new on Photo scenery making but i´ve alredy meda a few venezuelan military airbases
BALANDA.jpg
Jacinto Lara Int. and Vicente Landaeta AB
BAEL.jpg
El Libertador AB
but when i´d tryed to creat my 1st int. airport..... none of the sbuilderx server gave me a background that i´d could use. the i´d opened the web page available to obtein the image and "voila" The city of Maturin and the Jose Tadeo Monagas Int airport (SVMT) were clearly there.... my question is how can place that image into my proyect and how can i make a bgl from it. sorry but i´m not an expert in the programing theme, just a fsx addict and a aviation enthusiat.
My english is not very good but hope is understandable,
thanks...

The latest tileserver DLLs are found here:

http://cid-f3950c5bbd2bcfa1.skydrive.li ... E_2010.zip

Save the old DLLs to a safe location ( as a precaution ), then simply place the DLLs into the C:\Program Files\SBuilderX313\Tiles folder to activate the new ones.

This should fix some problems with older DLLs.

+++++++++++++++++++

If you wish to use a gmaps screenshot, I would suggest using:

http://www.ludowise.x10hosting.com/gmap ... amaps.html as it has some slight improvements over Luis' original online maps.

Note the The boundaries of the map are: box as similar to this...

Code: Select all

[GEOGRAPHIC]
Name=Photo_0001
North=42.64358763213482
South=42.624644097628334
West=-88.6182975769043
East=-88.58396530151367
Copy that code to a text file that matches you screenshot BMP file. For example, I save a 3200 x 2400 screenshot as C59.bmp and save the above text as C59.txt. Place both of these files into the C:\Program Files\SBuilderX313\Tools\Work folder, and add the map from disk. The map will be auto referenced to the right location, and ready for compiling.

Thanks a lot dick ... the new tiles helped... i´ve tryed doing what you suggested by using the maps from web but they never took place were the image belong... thats why i wrote the post... as soon as i can will post some pictures of Maturin...
I´m having another problem trying to place rwy12 trees... they dont display at all, and the hangars and shelters i found on the web, i´ve add them with the ObejLib manager but the also not display at all on scenery

Thanks again
