Photoscenery LOD Value

Hi All,

How can I change the LOD value that SBuilderX uses to compile photoscenery?

I am making photoscenery airport backgrounds which need to show above a pre-existing photoscenery, the values I need to use in the .ini file for the LOD setting is "4,15", I cannot find a way to change this parameter, can anyone help?

Hello Alan,

SBuilderX will use the LOD=Auto value. To use a different setting, you will have to compile manually.

So, first compile with SBuilderX. Then, in the Work folder you should find the generated inf file. Change the value there and compile the project manually.

Happy New Year!

It is very simple for me to recompile SBuilderX so that it reads the INI file for this LOD parameter. In a recent post on the AVSIm forum, I have admitted this possibility.

However, as I did not received any feedback (and because I am not using SbuilderX) I do not know if this worths, say, 30 minutes of work.

To Luis:

and I am considering it to prepare some materials for my students here at my university. I thought that I could make a set of basic video tutorials for SBX, but my English (to record voice on top of video) is not as good as it should be for that purpose. Luis is this the same kind of tool you linked already before? "getbackground"
