I show 19 TXT files, along with all the JPGs. All files are dated June 8, 2007. Do you have these in the \LibObjects folder?

Hello,

In my INI file I have this line:

[Objects]
LibObjectsPath=C:\Documents and Settings\Luis\Os meus documentos\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\SBuilder\bin\Debug\LibObjects

Then in the referred to folder I have OBJECTS.TXT and all the references that I have inside this file:
Image1.gif
Image1.gif (15.07 KiB) Viewed 19755 times
Hope this helps,

Luis

Hi There,

I have the same problem when opening SBuilderX: it can't open the following *.txt files:
FSX_airport_objects
FSX_animals
FSX_autogen
FSX_buildings
FSX_fillerobjects
FSX_gameobjects
FSX_generic
FSX_hazards
FSX_missionobjects

In the C:\Program Files\SBuilderX\LibObjects folder, I have 18 FSX_*.txt files, 1 objects.txt file and 232 *.jpg files.

In the ini file, I have this line :
[Objects]
LibObjectsPath=C:\Program Files\SBuilderX\LibObjects

And in the objects.txt file, the active lines are these ones:

include=FSX_airport_objects.txt
include=FSX_animals.txt
include=FSX_autogen.txt
include=FSX_bridges.txt
include=FSX_buildings.txt
include=FSX_fillerobjects.txt
include=FSX_gameobjects.txt
include=FSX_generic.txt
include=FSX_hazards.txt
include=FSX_landmark.txt
include=FSX_missionobjects.txt
include=FSX_roofs.txt
include=FSX_vegetation.txt
include=FSX_vehicles_aircraft.txt
include=FSX_vehicles_airport.txt
include=FSX_vehicles_land.txt
include=FSX_vehicles_water.txt
include=FSX_waterobjects.txt

I'm not sure if it is related to the problem but it seems that some jpg files referenced in the txt files are not in the folder. For instance, I did not see any "animals" file in the jpg file. An other instance would be that the {cf880ed7-8cb3-4cfc-a808-0d3194b74bda} 2 72 73 1 AIR_FBO_EXTRAL object referenced in the FSX_airport_objects.txt file is not related to any jpg file.

As the last post on this subject was on sept 21st, 2008, did someone find a solution ?

The object folder in the preferences is grayed. And I can't use the objects tool, nothing happens when I click on it.

Hi,

The bug is the decimal separator. When using the comma, the program won't process the *.txt files. Changing the comma for a dot in the regional settings cleared the problem. As far as I'm concerned, I did it only once and reverted to the comma in the regional settings. SBuilderX did open the right way afterward. My system runs Vista SP1 with the Canadian French language code.

If it could help.
