How do I get a textured polygon, eg .sand, to show below an AFCAD?
Use to be easy in SB9. Pulling my hair out in SBX.
Polygon placement
Re: Polygon placement
Figured it out, sort of. I had to use the older SBuilder version and then edit the bgl with a hex editor.

Hello Jim,
Just wondering how did you do it? It used to be really easy with FS 9.
Best regards.
Luis

Re: Polygon placement
I had the SbuilderFS9 files already from my FS9 version of the airport. I used SbuilderFS9 to create the water polygons, roads, airport background and then the sand polygons VTP Layer 6 and using 1184 Arid vector polys. One then has to use something like Hex Workshop to edit 1184 to FSX's ARID 0129 in the _Muskoka_VTPP.BGL. see below:
From Land.txt
Name=129_Y_Arid
Color=FFBEB496
Textures=129b2su1
The name number is the same as the 1st part of the texture bmp.
I used the new Sbuilder X to create the LC, the airport flatten and exclude.
N.B.
If the Priority feature worked in SbuilderX we could probably do it with custom textured polygons which would be my priority of use.
