Photo texture

Post by kalak » Sat Jul 23, 2011 4:53 pm

I have this strange problem. I have GeoTIFF images for summer and winter. And SBX loads the files without any problems.
And the image is calibrated correctly.

But when I try to make a compilation of the selected image, then SBX can't see any photo scenery to compile weith this error: "There is nothing to compile because no items have been selected!..."

And I have selecte the image inside SBX, and I use to, when I compile :-)

Make sure that the name of your GeoTIFF file begins with "Photo" so that SBuilderX can recognize it as a Map used for custom ground textures, instead of another kind of Map.

Best regards.

It didn't work for me.

The files are under ..\Tools\Work\
The filenames starts with Photo

I have selected the image, as you can see (green border), but it keep saying I have not selected anything.

Are running SBuilderX 3.13, on Windows 7 (64bit).

I think acceptable image types are BMP or TIFF.

As Dick mentions, you are using PNG images and the Microsoft compiler will not accept them. Try converting your images. By the way, you began this post by writing that you are using GeoTIFF files, and your image shows that they are PNG files.

Best regards.

Hi

Yes the GeoTiff files didn't work out for me. So I tried these files.

BMP files, and I don't have any troubles :-)
More and more happy about SBuilderX.
