Post by BROGY » Sun Nov 13, 2011 3:55 pm

Since I'm a newbe in SBuilder I have a problem.
After starting a new project I try to add a BGL file from another aiport.
My screen stays white - nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong??

SBuilderX has no method to work from an existing BGL file. That's why your screen stays white.

What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

Dear meshman, I want to make some changes to the airport of my hometown (EBBT). I have downloaded this scenery from the internet via Avsim.
Since there is an option in SBuilder to add a BGL or XML file, I thougt this was the solution.
If I understand it correct, you must start the design of an airport from scratch

Ah, now I see what you are trying to do.

When SBuilderX installs it places a compiled help file in the \Help folder. There are instructions on the importing and using of objects using the Edit | Object Lib Manager function. To summarize; append an library object file (ebbt-brasschaat.bgl), select a category to move the objects to OR make a new category name, then go place them using SBX.
