make a poly, right-click on the side to get properties, scroll down to find the texture you want.... grass.... airport 1 or 2, forest- city- etc. How can I add one of my own? Bob

The quick answer is you can't. Actually the terrain.cfg controls the classes of textures and their GUIDs. You can add to this list, but that is not recommended as you'll not be compatible with other users' terrain.cfgs.

You can make a texture and use it as a fake photoreal... complete with seasons if you like, and add autogen to it. Just make a 24-bit texture and use resample to place it where you'd like.
