Struggling with SbuilderX's _LM night lighting?
Posted: Tue May 02, 2017 2:07 pm
Hi there guys
I am just at the final stages of my first scenery project for Woodford EGCD in the northwest of England, I've been following a tutorial for the past few weeks which has guided me to this point but the guy who was making the tutorial has now moved to X-plane 11 and has no desire to finish his fsx/p3d series on how to make scenery, leaving all of us following it without much experience in trouble.
The problem I am having is with the _LM or _N texture in the seasons section of SbuilderX, I have the satellite imagery working perfectly with my blend and water mask, all is fine but when I add my night image (which was made in Gimp 2.8 using original image then 80% darkened layer with erases and some yellow tints added, then exported as .bmp file to the SbuilderX work folder) when this file is selected as my Light Map in the seasons tab the compile fails to make the BGL, as far as i can see it just makes the Photo01.INF setup information file but nothing else, if i remove my _LM for the seasons tab it works perfectly again. I have tried both _LM and _N both .bmp files but I get the same result every time?
I am using the p3d v2.5 with SDK 2.5.12946.0, my SbuilderX version is 313, I'm also running Windows 10 64bit. I would really appreciate any help with this as it is the last bit of my scenery to do then it will be completed. Here is a copy of the my Photo01.INF setup information file for you to have a look at as well. I have been trying to fix this with my limited understanding for a couple of weeks at least now but i have come to a dead end.
Here is a picture of my project so far. https://puu.sh/vD8fo/b5e916353e.jpg
I would be extremely grateful for any help so i can complete this project and start my next one
Many thanks.
