Luis SáHello! Welcome to PTSim, a place for all world-wide flight simulator scenery design enthusiasts! the home of SBuilderX and Portuguese sceneries!

My name is Luis Sá and I got envolved with Flight Simulator in 1995. You can use the menu on the left to see my earlier experiences with Fligth Simulator. My first scenery was Portugal95 which was followed by Portugal98. More recently I made Madeira Islands and Portugal Terrain. Both run on FS2004. I also wrote a number of tools for Scenery Design. When I finished Madeira Islands in 2003, I started a big project - a tool to generate terrain scenery which I called SBuilder. I used Visual Basic 6 to build it. When FSX came out, I revised the tool using Visual Studio 2005 and I renamed it to SBuilderX. I will try to support SBuilderX and I would like to thank all scenery designers that help me in making SBuilderX a better tool.

 Portugal Terrain

Now I would like to talk about Portugal Terrain which is a free scenery that I made with SBuilder. With Portugal Terrain you get a chance to make big discoveries! You can start in the north, near Caminha, and follow the Atlantic coast until Vila Real de Santo António. You will see the beaches, the ports, the marinas, the lagoons, the coves, the estuaries, the cliffs and other landscapes that make the Portuguese coast one of the most beautiful ones in Europe.

Or, you can leave Lisbon along the Tagus, in the  route to the interior, travelling through the cities and villages of Portugal. You can follow the valley of River Zêzere passing by the large lakes until you arrive to the highest mountain of Portugal - Serra da Estrela. It will be very difficult to get lost! If that happens, pick up a road map, locate a road or a river that you know about, and continue your journey!

Portugal Terrain was a missing scenery to make a Flight Simulator experience in Portugal a real unique one. It also constitutes the natural complement to many other sceneries, payware or freeware.

You can get
Portugal Terrain from the "Downloads" section of this site. Portugal Terrain was a commercial product and a Product Code was needed to install the scenery. It was also needed to activate the scenery before installing. You do not need this anymore but you still need an Internet connection when installing and uninstalling.
